Game Day at Tuscaloosa-Funny Life Moment

Not everything is about serious leadership, sometimes you just need a good “life laugh”!

Saturday, while I was at The University of Alabama to watch the Tide vs Texas (which was fun, even though no win), I found myself walking behind a group of students, who were discussing a great trial in life. This was a serious discussion.

These students, mostly ladies with a couple of guys, were discussing “the lack of availability of dateable men at UA”. Apparently, there’s a big shortage of “dateable guys” on campus ! (Did you know that, and apparently, it’s serious?)

I love to “people watch” and “people listen” and as I walked behind the students, I had to keep from laughing out loud on more than one occasion.

While they were discussing this great trial in life, I was thinking….

1) I am most likely older than your parents.

2) It is a really long walk back to my truck, I really need a golf cart shuttle service!

3) I need some refreshments (BBQ, Nachos, Burger, Tequila, Margarita, etc., etc.,)

4) There are way too many Texas fans here today, Way too many!
